In today's post I would like to talk about my time in Ibiza and my Horrific Mosquito Bite I had been in Ibiza a couple of days when I realized that I had been bitten at the time I didn't realise it was a Mosquito Bite It just felt like this Huge Spot below my Eye with the Heat I think it just made it go more Swollen and anyone that has had Mosquito Bites in the past knows Mosquito Bites swell up with Heat.
I thought if I didn't put any Make-Up on I would be fine how Wrong was I.
I had to Wear these great big Pair of Sunglasses and you could still see the Mosquito Bite the next day it had got from Bad to Worse I woke up and my Eye had Swelled up so much we went to a Chemist to try and get something for it and they was so shocked by just how Swollen it was I looked like a Boxer my Eye was so Swollen and it had gone all Crusty it was Horrible it was Seriously Infected the Chemist explained that I had to go straight to the Hospital which is what I did.
When we got to the Hospital we waited Hours before I got to see a Doctor then when I did see the Doctor I could not understand a Word they were saying to me which was really Scary luckily my Ex Partner could speak some Spanish turns out what they had to do for me to take the Swelling down was give me a antihistamine injection which freaked me out as I hate Injections you wouldn't think so with me having 4 tattoos but I do I genuinely hate needles.
The Doctor said that I had probably had an Allergic Reaction to the Mosquito Bite and that's why it Flared up so much.
That was really the First time I had a Mosquito Bite and now every Holiday I go on I seem to be getting Mosquito Bites they seem to be Attracted to me this Mosquito Bite in Ibiza was definitely the Worst one that I have had I think maybe because it was close to my eye.
With the Antihistamine Injection it only took a few hours for the Swelling to go down even though I did look like I had been Punched for a few more Days.
