My Time in New York

Hello Travellers,

In today's post I want to talk about my time in New York City it was so long ago now and unfortunately I don't have any Photos to share with you.

From memory I think we went to New York 11 years ago at the time I think I had one of those really cheap camera's the disposable ones and over the years I think the photos that I did take have gotten lost through the numerous house moves.

I loved New York City I think we were there for about 3 days in total we went for our friends wedding they got married in Central Park it was a Beautiful Ceremony the only downside was again I was really sick I had the worst head cold ever and I could barely speak. I remember my Friend the Bride asking me if I was ok and I just burst into tears. I felt awful crying on her Special Day but I was in agony and I get very Emotional when I'm sick enough about that though.

It really was a lovely day they hired one of those Humma Limosines and we got to see a lot of New York that we hadn't had time to go and see.

We went to the usual Tourist Places while we were in New York City we saw the Statue Of Liberty,  We walked through Times Square I loved it  I would have loved to go and watch a West End Show or a Football Game there just wasn't the time I would love to go back one day and do all the things we didn't get the chance to do.

We went to Rockefeller Centre and Coney Island,  We looked at the shops you can't go to New York City and not go and look at the Shops.

First stop was definitely Macys I had heard so much about this Store when I went though I was quite Dissapointed I didn't understand what the Hype was all about  that is more to do with the fact that at the time I lived in Manchester and we were spoilt for choice with stores such as Selfridges, House Of Frazer and a big Shopping Centre called  the Arndale Centre  in the City Centre and on the outskirts of Manchester is the Trafford Centre which there is just full of Designer Stores so when it came to Shopping in New York I don't think I actually bought myself anything at the time.

If I was to go back now I would definitely go to Sephora and get everything that I wanted that I can't get from the U.K but that's about it .
